Wedding Entertainment Designer

Getting to know your entertainment is vital to a successful event.  Here I will tell you a little about my  wife LeeAnn and myself.

in 1991 I was hired by the Black Angus restaurant as their Sunday/Monday DJ and at the time I had never been a DJ before, however I quickly found a love for entertaining crowds.  My skills and knowledge on how to entertain and move a diverse crowd grew and after about 6 months with the company they asked me to become there go to guy when ever another DJ could not work. Within just a few months I had preformed at clubs from San Diego to Burbank & Palm Springs all the while keeping my club going in Riverside, CA when in 1992 Black Angus asked me to become the Director of Entertainment for Bakersfield and this is how I got here.

In 1992 I meet my beautiful wife LeeAnn when she came in to the club around happy hour with a co-worker (by the way I still remember the light blue shirt she was wearing that day when she came to the club)  wow she was stunning (sorry, I get carried away when talking about me bride) anywayI invited her back to the club that night and a year later we got married.

Too Hype ProductionsIn 1994 I left the club world for the life as a private mobile DJ. My first company was called Too Hype Productions (I know, what can I say I was young)  my reputation from the club was keeping me in private parties and school dances with just a few wedding now and then.  One of my clients told me they almost didn’t call because they thought I didn’t do wedding based on my company name.  Thus Good Time Entertainment was born.

From that point forward I was on a mission to help brides and groom have a party to end all parties.  Soon after I was booking weddings all over town and started to hire and train DJ by 1997 I had 8 DJ working for me at one time and we would still sell out on the popular months. With the skill and experience my DJ’s had they started to move on and launch their own companies around California, Some in LA some up north & one moved to Las Vegas.  For a while I would hire and train new DJ but they just didn’t have the passion for wedding that I had so as they moved on I chose not to replace them and just hone my skills as an entertainer.

I started to attend educational conferences with a focus on Mobile DJ and found a whole world on knowledge at the Mobile Beat Conference in Las Vegas, NV in 2003.
